Poca is a special needs 4-year-old foster child from the Seattle area who was recently torn away from the only place she's ever called home. She was taken from loving, stable foster parents who have raised her since infancy. Why? Washington state's child welfare system is punishing the foster parents for speaking up against the system. Unfortunately, Poca is the true victim. She's now in a new foster home with people she barely knows. Her story has outraged people across the nation. Thank you for visiting this site to help fight for Poca.

The Today Show
The Langley family is off to New York to talk about the fight for Poca. It will be on Thursday morning at 8am on the Today Show. Let's bring a voice and Justice for Poca to be back with her family!
Good luck Amy and Dick. We are all pulling for you here. I was at the rally this morning and talked to Dick's Mom. Our hearts go out to you as we have had a foster child removed (by Judge Farris as well) and it is so horrible, but you need to be strong and know we are going to right this wrong. Poca deserves to be with you and we will make it happen. We must improve the system to prevent this from happening again. You are an inspiration to us all.
Sorry I missed the rally today. I did hear you on Kirby Wilbur this morning. Am doing all I can to help and to spread the word. You are not alone in this fight. What you are doing is not for just Poca, it is for many other foster children who have suffered under the 'care' of DSHS.
We are spreading the word! I love you guys and can't stop thinking about you and the "Fight for Poca". Thank you so much to everyone who came to the rally today and expressed your support for Poca's rights. It was emotional yet so Amazing!
"POCA HAS RIGHTS!, POCA HAS RIGHTS!, POCA HAS RIGHTS!"
The judge is covering her rear end. You are incredible people!! for what you do for kids. and poca in particular. You will prevail! Good luck and God bless you.
our family is suffering the same fate we live in pa! The children were taken in March.. how can i speak with you? This may be happening more than people know! and shouldn't it's the children who realy lose. Amie Weymouth
Although I live in Tennessee I cannot stop thinking about the Matt Lauer of the Today Show's interview with Dick & Amy Langley and the loss of their precious Poca. The video was heartbreaking. The governor has the power to get this sweet girl back in the hands of this wonderful couple and stable home that she feels loved and has only known. It sounds like her biological parents are totally unfit and will only do her lifelong harm if left in their care.
What an atrocity it will be in your state if someone doesn't intervene.
"Evil thrives when good men do nothing." Please, I beg everyone to write to the governor to save this little girl.
If you would like to have a voice in this situation, you may call and email the following contacts to share your opinion that comes with hearing about the Poca case. You will be applying pressure to those that can make a difference.
I am so glad to hear some one is listening!
ReplyDeleteI saw the protesters today and so I googled the story. What our state is doing is tragic. I sincerly hope you get that little girl back soon.
