Poca is a special needs 4-year-old foster child from the Seattle area who was recently torn away from the only place she's ever called home. She was taken from loving, stable foster parents who have raised her since infancy. Why? Washington state's child welfare system is punishing the foster parents for speaking up against the system. Unfortunately, Poca is the true victim. She's now in a new foster home with people she barely knows. Her story has outraged people across the nation. Thank you for visiting this site to help fight for Poca.

The Upcoming Rally
There will be a rally on Wednesday, May 13th at 10 am. It will take place in front of the Denney Juvenile Justice Center in Everett, WA. The rally is in protest to save Poca. If you would like more information, you can visit www.fosterjustice.com.
join the rally!! it is important!! Let the judge and state leaders know this is ridiculous and so unjust for a tiny child who cannot advocate for herself!!!!
I will be at the rally. Furthermore, go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/ and tell them how we feel. Go to the "Contact us". I am also a former foster parent, who adopted two children from the State, we have 3 biological grown children. We chose not to renew our foster because of the corrupt mismanagement of the system. We have followed this story and are deeply saddened and outraged. We are praying for you all.
Hang in there Langley family! We all love and support you! I will be at the rally supporting you guys all the way! Your such a great family and don't deserve all your having to go through. :)
A real dad takes care of you. A real dad cleans up the mess when you are sick. A real dad wakes up in the middle of the night because he hears you crying. A real dad chases the monsters out from under your bed. A real dad teaches you right from wrong. A real dad helps you heal from your wounds, even the ones nobody can see. You cry when a real dad leaves. You jump for joy when he comes back. A real dad is always there for you, cares for you, and loves you. I know what a real dad is because I am one. I am a foster dad. My family is a real family. The parenting I do is real parenting. The love we feel is real love. That’s a real dad.
I wrote this to talk about the love I feel for my foster daughters, but it applies to moms, too. Happy Mother's Day Amy. You are one of the best.
There is no other women I would trust more in taking care of my children than Amy Langely. I remember when we were growing up and all I wanted to do was cartwheel around the yard and play in the woods. Amy always managed to reel me in for a little less physical play of hours upon hours of setting up house and taking care of our baby dolls. Go figure! It turns out that the perfect play was invented by the perfect Mom. I love you both. My prayers are with you and the kids. I will be thinking of you every single day until Poca comes home. I will see you at the rally on Wednesday!
I have followed your saga, with a very heavy heart for you and Poca. I am sorry I cannot be at the Rally on Wednesday, but I will be there in spirit. I have other commitments on that day. I have made it one of my missions to ask everyone I see if they have heard about Poca and if they have not, I have sent them to King 5 so they can watch the clips. I pray for justice for the family and Poca and for it to come SOON!!
I know all too well this situation and I am so sorry that Poca is the true victim here. I pray for her daily that God is with her and He will help her through this situation that is no fault of her own. I am sorry she is being punished for your advocacy for her rights.
If you would like to have a voice in this situation, you may call and email the following contacts to share your opinion that comes with hearing about the Poca case. You will be applying pressure to those that can make a difference.
The blog looks great Amy!
